OHFA Executive Director
For Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency, the 2017 Fiscal Year end meant a change in leadership. OHFA’s board of trustees hired Deborah Jenkins as the new executive director. Jenkins has been an affordable housing advocate for more than 30 years.
“An affordable home is a basic fundamental that should be available to everyone,” said Jenkins. “My vision for the Oklahoma Housing Finance Agency is to be the premier agency for providing resources that offers every Oklahoman access to affordable housing. We will be a catalyst for creating strong, sustainable communities that transform neighborhoods and enhance livability.”
Jenkins previously served as director of OHFA’s statewide Housing Choice Voucher rental assistance program. She serves on numerous boards and committees, including the Board of Governors for the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials, MetaFund, Oklahoma Disaster Housing Task Force, Children of Incarcerated Parents, and the Oklahoma Health Care Authority Living Choice program.
